Hammer Packaging named as a best workplace
Hammer Packaging has been named a Best Workplace in the Americas in an annual contest comparing human resource programs in the printing and graphics industry.
The 2009 awards, presented by the Printing Industries of America, consider several factors, including management practices, training and development opportunities, workplace safety and health and wellness programs.
The latest award represents the seventh time since 2001 that Hammer has been recognized, the company said.
“Our people are Hammer’s most important asset. Because we always manage our business planning with a focus on our people, we not only retain valued employees, but we are able to attract highly qualified and capable people from our industry,” said James E. Hammer, president and CEO.
