What are you thankful for?

Living – November 3, 2009 - 4:00am

Your mom’s chocolate chip cookies. A friend who listened when you had a problem. A sunny day.

The simplest things can often bring the greatest joys. We’d like to know what you’re thankful for this year for a special Thanksgiving tribute. Here are the parameters:

  • You must be able to express it in five or fewer words. It can be anything, whether personal and profound, or simple and joyous.
  • You can’t use specific names, but you can identify people by relationship, such as mother, minister, teacher, etc.
  • Include your name and a daytime phone number (not for publication).
  • We must receive your submission by Nov. 17. E-mail your contribution to cathyr@DemocratandChronicle.com, with Giving Thanks in the subject line, or mail it to Giving Thanks, Living Section, Democrat and Chronicle, 55 Exchange Blvd., Rochester, NY 14614.
