One man slashed, another injured in sibling dispute in Greece

GREECE One man was slashed with a box cutter and his brother also was injured in a fight between the siblings early today at a home on Shady Way.
Richard Cote was charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree assault in connection with the stabbing of his older brother, Joseph Cote, of 89 Shady Way in Greece.
Joseph Cote sustained “significant slashing injuries” to the torso and was taken to Unity Health hospital, said Lt. Steven Chatterton. Richard Cote was found with unspecified injuries at a different hospital, where he was treated.
Police responded to the home about 3:20 a.m. Both men are in their 30s, Chatterton said.
More information is expected to be released today, police said.
