City man faces rape charge
A city man was arraigned this morning in Rochester City Court on charges of first-degree rape.
Keith D. Pero, 34, of Lake Avenue is accused of raping a 50-year-old woman on Feb. 3, according to Rochester Police spokesman Officer LaRon Singletary.
Pero is being held in the Monroe County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $45,000 bond, and is due to return to City Court for his preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
